Crosswinds has always been active in the communities in the state of Kansas. Some members even belong to clubs or take part in sports. Crosswinds is not only proud to support our members who are in involved in the sports, we support the whole sport. Crosswinds Research and Chasing enjoys being part of local events which can include parades and fairs for the holidays or just events that the communities put on.
Some of our members are active in the Special Olympics. The Special Olympics goes on though out the year different sports durning different times.. The Special Olympics just finished there volleyball season with an for fun volleyball tournament with the Kansas Wesleyan volleyball players in Salina, Kansas. This is where the players give pointers out to the Special Olympics players so they can get ready for their next season and sport. The next season is Basketball which they start skills in December to see what skills each player has so they can be put in there basketball team than start their practices in January. Only two members of Crosswinds Research and Chasing was part of the volleyball team this season and both members got a metal from this event. Very well done David and Darin.

Sadly Crosswinds Research and Chasing could not make it to the Salina Frost Parade this year. Crosswinds will be trying to make the Plainville and Hays Frost Parades. Heres some pictures from last years Christmas themed parades. If you see us in a parade or an event don't hesitate to stop by and get some preparedness materials from us or have fun doing one of our event games or classes we put on.
